The Magnolia Community PTO has many volunteering opportunities, which fall into four categories: Schoolwide, Social, Fundraising, and Teacher Appreciation. Click on the links below to learn more or sign up!

Schoolwide volunteer opportunities include helping in the library, doing an occasional odd job, working the book fair, decorating the school for the holidays, or helping to plan or support one of our many events — Meet-the-Teacher, class parties, Trunk or Treat, Thanksgiving feast, SpringFest, the End-of-Year Picnic, and more. You can lead or help with an event, it is up to you!

Social events are Moms and Mimosas, Mom’s Night(s) Out, Dad’s Night(s) Out, and the Mom’s Holiday Party. We need help in planning events as well as with tasks for the event itself.

Fundraising events include Penny Wars (raises money for Foster Village), the Gala, Spirit/Affinity Nights, Bake Sales, and selling Snow Cones. There are many ways to help in this area, large and small!

Teacher Appreciation volunteer opportunities include helping our Teacher Appreciation Chair purchase birthday lunches and gifts for staff, buy holiday gifts for staff, organize and execute Teacher Appreciation Week, and aid in the purchase of end-of-the-year gifts for staff and teachers. Costs associated with these tasks will be reimbursed by the PTO.
